CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:
ASR068 Jerk "Press The Eject And Give Me The Tape" 2010 | c30 edition of 30
Live document from Jerk’s third “final show”. Recorded by Ryan Kuehn at The Cool Ranch in Cleveland on May 23rd, 2010. David goes all VH-1 Storytellers for this nine song “greatest hits” set. 50% frentic noise rock, 50% crowd banter and storytelling while the band catches their breath between songs. Jerk live shows are as intense as they come, reminds me a lot of the Sightings live tape from Spite. >> Black tape with white spraypaint stencil, black print on cardstock.
$7 ppd U.S. | $8 ppd Worldwide
6 COPIES AVAILABLE
ASR063 Quiet Light Water Gap "June 18th, 1985" 2010 | c30 edition of 50
Exquisite sound dissection from Ohio's Quiet Light Water Gap. 6/18/85 is a cerebral audio collage of appropriated voice, natural occurrences and other calculated intonations. Dada flip the light unwound space in round again. >> Black tape with various color spraypaint stencils, double sided full color print insert.
$7 ppd U.S. | $8 ppd Worldwide
2 COPIES AVAILABLE
ASR058 Tiger Hatchery "s/t" 2010 | c35 edition of 100
Two live offerings from the preeminent Chicago free music trio. From a whisper to a roar Tiger Hatchery are one of most engaging bands performing today. Breathe it in. Recorded in Ithica, NY and Athens, OH in 2009. >> Transparent blue tape with white and blue spraypaint stencil, black transparency insert.
$7 ppd U.S. | $8 ppd Worldwide

ASR054 Skin Graft "Dirge" 2009 | 7" edition of 300
An instant classic, two years in the making... “Dirge” showcases what Wyatt Howland does best, pummel and grind. This record is a black assault with a deeply personal feel, like a perpetrator caressing you into eternal sleep with a set of pipe wrenchs. Art by David Russell. Co-released with Mistake By The Lake. >> Black vinyl 33 RPM 7” record, black and white laser print insert in plastic sleeve.
$8 ppd U.S. | $10 ppd Worldwide
4 COPIES AVAILABLE
ASR048 Dying Comes Alive! v. Head Boggle 2010 | c30 edition of 75
The eighth tape in the ASR “versus” split series is a collision of scum noise and in-situ synth from two San Francisco acts. Side A finds David Russell (of Jerk) & Nathan Russell (of Coagulator / Tusco Terror) getting gross while blackout drunk after a Christmas party in 2008. Side B is a brillantly irreverent piece of dada synth as Derek competes with a totally inept crowd resulting in a perfect pairing of performance and environment. >> Red foil tapes with white and copper spraypaint stencil, black transparency insert.
$7 ppd U.S. | $8 ppd Worldwide

AVAILABLE DISTRO ITEMS:
Dino Felipe / Ken Rei "Black T-Shirt" 2008 | Bananas Eat Girl CD edition of 1000
"Split CD of electronic tabelcore weirdness from Miami's Dino Felipe and Cleveland's Ken Rei. On this release, the enfant terrorible Felipe leans more in the direction of wandering, sinister ambiance. Rei delves headlong into obliterated, distorted beats and harsher, electronic wreckage. The CD works well as a complimentary presentation of both artists work. Each artist is whacked-out, absurd, funny and diverse in their approach to electronics. But it's Rei's abstract komische electronics that wins me on this split, although, the creepiness of Felipe's work does captivate my thanotic obsessions. What the fuck: an all-around sterling split from these two. Recommended if you're into the electronic thing. Or even if you're not. Walls will pulse and drip." - Foxy Digitalis >> Pro-printed Color CD + Insert in Vinyl Sleeve
